Horses are so beautiful and graceful and are really very popular to learn how to draw. How to Draw Horses with Easy Step by Step Drawing Tutorials

Drawing Tutorial #1 – Draw the Standing Horse
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Step 1
Firstly, start your horse drawing off with a square. Just lightly sketch it, because it is just meant as a guideline for drawing the horse. No need for a ruler, this is just a freehand drawn square.
Step 2
Now divide the square into two parts by dividing it in half horizontally (line that goes right and left).
Step 3
Now, in the top right draw a long triangle that goes up towards the right.
Step 4
Now, draw another, slightly smaller triangle, that is pointing downwards, as pictured above.
Step 5
Now that you drew the guidelines for the horse, you can now start drawing the horse within the guidelines.
Step 6
Now draw the legs in there.
Step 7
Now draw in the tail and a few more details.
Step 8 – Finished Drawing of a Standing Horse
Now just draw in some shadows and further details to finish up the horse.
Step 9 – Finished Drawing of a Standing Horse
Oh, and erase the guidelines.

Mine looks like a deformed dog with a bunch of triangle shaped heads I don’t thk tht is how it should look
This was very simple to draw if you have that kind of drawing background. But horses are hard to draw if you are a beginning artist. If it’s hard for you it just means you need practice. I’m 12 and I drew it just fine, but I draw A LOT. For someone who doesn’t draw that much it could be very hard.
It WAS helpful, IF you had hours to spend doing it. It turned out really great, but the steps are just hard to follow. I had to copy over it with my pencil (hard) with another piece of paper under it to get an NEW sheet without ALL THE ERASE MARKS!

This is to complicated. You need to break the steps down so that people can draw them easier. There for sure needs more steps. you guys know youre just joking about this being easy!
I love horses and i was doing a drawing for poetry about horses for school.. i need a way to draw a horse running since i stink at drawing the mrunning and the hooves….. this helped a lot! i am age 11 too just fyi
