Draw Cubes & Boxes with Easy Step by Step Drawing Instructions

Do you want to learn how to draw a cube or how to draw boxes? I have put together a step-by-step tutorial that will help you figure out how to draw boxes & cubes by using simple shapes to build up their form. This is an easy cartooning tutorial that kids, teens, and adults will enjoy. Even some younger children might be able to draw cubes if you stand by to help with the instructions. Enjoy!
Draw Cubes & Boxes with Easy Step by Step Drawing Instructions
Step 1
Step 1 - Draw Square
Step 2
Step 2 - Draw a 2nd Square ... Draw the second square above and to the left of the first square
Step 3
Step 3 - Connect Both Squares ... Connect the bottom left corner of the first square to the bottom left corner of the second square. Do this for every corner.
Step 4
Step 5 Erase Unnecessary Lines ... Now you have a cube.
More Advanced Cubes / Boxes to Learn How to Draw
How to Draw Box Opened on Top ... To draw a box opened up at the top, do step 5 by erasing all the lines EXCEPT for the top of the square. So then you will still have that line coming down. To show depth, shade the inside of the box. You can use the side of your pencil to shade and / or draw hatched lines.
How to Draw Box That You Can Look Through ... To draw a box opened up in the front, do step 5 by erasing all the lines EXCEPT for the front of the square. So then you will still have the 3 lines that look like a sideways capital Y still there. Shade by using the side of your pencil and / or use hatchmark lines.
