Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions
(STEP 01) Draw a smiley face.
(STEP 02) Draw 2 outward lines, an upside-down “?” shape, and a circle mouth.
(STEP 3) Draw “C” shaped ears, oval eyes, and a sideways square-like “C” shape.
(STEP 4) Draw a partial oval for her hair. Draw curved lines under her eyes. Draw wavy lines for her scarf. Draw outward lines for her arms.
(STEP 5) Draw curved lines over her eyes, on her sleeves, and on top of her hair (her hat). Draw upside-down “?” shapes on her chest.
(STEP 6) Draw a backward #7-like shape on her hat. Draw a “U” shape for some of her hair. Draw some lines on her shirt.
(STEP 7) Draw some curved lines, some straight lines and “U” shaped thumbs.
(STEP 8) Draw sideways “U” shapes on her hands. Draw a curved line for her skirt.
(STEP 9) Draw a “J” shape on each of her hands. Draw 2 lines for each leg. Draw a curved line for each of her eyebrows.
(STEP 10) Draw a curved line on each of her hands. Draw curved lines for her boots. Ignore the eyebrows, I forgot to erase that.
(STEP 11) Draw curved lines on her boots.
(STEP 12) Draw sideways “C” shapes on her boots.
(STEP 13) Draw curved lines for her hair.
(STEP 14) Finish off her hair with “J” shapes.
(STEP 15) Let’s start drawing the other 2 characters, David, and Frida. We’ll start off with the legs and arms to make sure they are placed properly.
(STEP 16) Draw a #7 shape and a sideways “J” shape on the right. Draw a sideways “C” shape, a curved line, and a straight line on the left.
(STEP 17) Draw a sideways “L” shape, “C” shapes, and a curved line on the right. Draw a curved line, straight line, and a sideways “J” shape on the left.
(STEP 18) Draw a bunch of straight lines and curved lines on the characters. Draw an “L” shape on the collar and the leg on the right.
(STEP 19) Draw a #3 shape, letter “L” shapes on the left. Draw a #3 shape and a bunch of lines on the one on the right.
