Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions
Use colored pencils, pastels or watercolors.
(Step 1) Draw a circle…use a lid or a bowl or something else round to make it perfect.
(Step 2) Draw ovals for fingers.
(Step 3) Erase inside the ovals. Then draw letter ‘U’ shapes.
(Step 4) Draw more letter ‘U’ shapes.
(Step 5) Draw letter ‘v’ shapes.
(Step 6) Draw lines, a letter ‘v’ shape and a letter ‘j’ shape.
(Step 7) Color in a yellow-ish green in the centers of the fingers.
(Step 8) Color in a darker green on outer edges and the parts of the fingers that are more behind the ball. Add a little white in the centers of the fingers to make it shine.
(Step 9) Darken the outer edges of the fingers a little bit more with the dark green.
(Step 10) Color in the ball red.
(Step 11) Add a darker red / maroon color to outer edges and the center.
(Step 12a) Add a white oval to the upper left side of the dark center. Also add a 3 smaller ovals on the bottom right of the circle. Also A tiny curved line of white below the top left finger.
(Step 12b) Add dark red / maroon shadows to the right side of each of the fingers. On the bottom finger also add a shadow to the left of the finger.
