I first saw Lemon & Sugar on Facebook as a collection of adorable web stickers, but I think they are all over social media. I will teach you how to draw this cute little girl over-affectionately hugging her pet dog. It is super cute and I have made it super easy to learn how to draw. Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

STEP 01: Draw a wide oval for the face. Parts of the face will be erased later on, so draw it lightly.

STEP 02: (OPTIONAL) Lightly draw guidelines thru the face to help you place the facial features. These lines will be erased later.

STEP 03: Draw a curved line for the little girl’s nose. Draw a sideways #7 shape on the top of her head.

STEP 04: Draw 2 sideways (slightly curved) letter “V” shapes.

STEP 05: Draw a curved line for the mouth as well as for the eyebrows.

STEP 06: Draw a partial circle (or sideways “C”) over the girl’s head.

STEP 07: Draw a lowercase “e”-like shape. Also, draw 3 tiny lines under the left eye.

STEP 08: Erase the part of the face that overlaps with the “e” shape from the last step. Draw “J” shapes on the side of her head.

STEP 09: Draw a sideways #3 shape for the bow on top of her head. Draw sideways “C” shapes for the ears of the dog.

STEP 10: Draw a bunch of ovals on the dog’s face for his eyes and nose.

STEP 11: Draw a sideways #17-like shape. It also looks like a line and a sideways “J” shape.

STEP 12: Draw a sideways #3 shape. Also, draw a small “U” shape.

STEP 13: Draw a backward #3 shape, a straight line, and a curved line.

STEP 14: Draw a #3 shape for fingers. Draw a curved line for her dress.

STEP 16: Draw a “C” shape for one of the fingers. Draw an upside-down “?” shape on the left side of her dress (don’t draw the dot).

STEP 16: Draw a “C” and “L” shape for her legs.

STEP 17: Draw a sideways “L”-like shape for her back leg. Draw a curved line as well.

STEP 18: Draw a bunch of “U” shapes.

STEP 19: Draw a backward “J” shape on her leg. Draw a bunch of lines on the doggy.

STEP 20: Draw a backward “C” shape for the dog’s tail. Draw a partial oval for their shadow.

STEP 21: Start drawing a heart by drawing a sideways #3 shape.

STEP 22: Finish the heart with a wide “V”-like shape.

STEP 23: Color in.
