Written Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(STEP 01) Very lightly draw a square and 2 lines through the center. These lines are just guides and will be erased later on.

(STEP 02) Now lightly draw a partial circle or slanted letter “C” shape within the square guides. Separate the lower right quadrant into half both ways. These are guidelines and will be erased later on.

(STEP 03) Use the guidelines to help you place the actual lines of the drawing. Draw a backward “J” shape for part of the nose. Draw 2 lines for the neck.

(STEP 04) Draw an upside-down “?”-like shape (Don’t draw the dot).

(STEP 05) Draw a “J” shape at the tip of her nose. Draw a tilted “C” shape for her ear. Use the guidelines to place them.

(STEP 06) Draw a “J” shape for the top lip. Draw a curved line for part of her eye. Draw an oval for her cheek.

(STEP 07) Draw a few curved lines.

(STEP 08) Draw a half circle for her pupil. Draw a curved line at the top and bottom of her eye. Draw a “C” shape inside her ear.

(STEP 09) Draw a slanted curved line in her eye. Draw “M” shaped eyelashes. Draw “W” shaped hair.

(STEP 10)Draw a slanted line, a curved line, and a “W” shape.

(STEP 11) Draw 2 “W” shapes on the bangs. Draw 2 small lines on the top of her head. Draw a backward “D” shape for her hairband.

(STEP 12) Draw some lines for the hair, including some zig-zaggy lines. Draw another line on the hairband that forms a “D” in the other direction. Draw a backward “J” shape for part of her ponytail.

(STEP 13) Draw a sideways “V” shape on her bangs. Draw some curved lines. Draw a wavy curved line below her ear.

(STEP 14) Draw 2 curved lines, a slanted “Z” shape, and a backward “J” shape on her ponytail.

(STEP 15) Draw 2 slanted lines, a curved line, and a backward “J” shape on her ponytail.

(STEP 16) Draw some slanted lines. Draw a slightly wavy curved line at the bottom of her hair.

(STEP 17) Draw an upside-down “U” shape for her shoulder. Draw an upside-down “?” shape inside her ear.

(STEP 18) Erase guidelines.
