Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions
(STEP 01) Draw a sideways “C” shape.
(STEP 02) Draw a curved line on the bottom.
(STEP 03) Draw (below the current shape) a curved line on both sides.
(STEP 04) Draw a slanted line as well as a curved line along the base.
(STEP 05) Connect 2 of these lines with a curved line.
(STEP 06) Draw this curved line a bit higher than the previous one.
(STEP 07) Draw the lines on the side of Yoda’s body.
(STEP 08) Lightly draw circles. The bottom parts will be erased later on.
(STEP 09A) Draw curved lines for his cheeks.
(STEP 09B) Erase the parts of the eyes that are below the cheeks.
(STEP 10) Draw 3 small curved lines.
(STEP 11A) Draw a curved line on either side of the mouth. Draw a slanted “U” shape for each arm.
(STEP 11B) Erase some overlapping lines.
(STEP 12) Draw a curved line at the end of each sleeve.
(STEP 12B) Erase overlapping lines.
(STEP 13A) Draw “M”-like shaped hands.
(STEP 13B) Erase overlapping lines.
(STEP 14) Draw 3 circles in each eye.
(STEP 15) Draw curved lines on the ears.
(STEP 16) Draw a curved line for each ear.
(STEP 17) Draw a curved line in each ear.
(STEP 18) Now let’s color him in.
