This is the seventh tutorial in a large series of tutorials on drawing facial expressions or silly faces. This particular lesson is on how to draw a very happy cartoon boy who is wearing the biggest smile ever. We have broken this tutorial down to many steps, so hopefully, it is easy enough for you to learn how to draw. Happy Drawing!

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw a “U” shaped face.

(Step 2) Draw curved lines at the top of the face.

(Step 3) Draw “C” shaped ears and curved lines for the neck.

(Step 4) Draw “M” shaped bangs. Draw a line as well.

(Step 5) Draw curved lines for the sides of the hair. Draw an upside-down “V” to finish off the bangs.

(Step 6) Draw zig-zags at the top of the hair (or just draw an “M” and a “W”.

(Step 7) Add some details.

(Step 8) Draw 2 curved lines for the nose. Draw a bunch of dots for the freckles.

(Step 9) Draw a letter “C” shape for each nostril.

(Step 10) Draw a curved line for each eye.

(Step 11) Turn each eye into an arrow.

(Step 12) Draw a curved line for his smile.

(Step 13) Draw a curved line at the sides of his smile.

(Step 14) Draw a curved line for each eyebrow and under his mouth.

(Steps 15 + 16) Thicken his eyebrows.

(Step 17) There you have it, he’s done.
