This is the fourth tutorial in a large series of tutorials on drawing facial expressions or silly faces. This particular lesson is on how to draw an embarrassed or nervous face of a boy who is feeling very uncomfortable in his current situation. He definitely just wants to escape and hide somewhere so he can stop being so ill at ease. Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions
(Step 1) Draw a “U” shaped face.
(Step 2) Draw curved lines at the top of the face.
(Step 3) Draw “C” shaped ears and curved lines for the neck.
(Step 4) Draw “M” shaped bangs. Draw a line as well.
(Step 5) Draw curved lines for the sides of the hair. Draw an upside-down “V” to finish off the bangs.
(Step 6) Draw zig-zags at the top of the hair (or just draw an “M” and a “W”.
(Step 7) Add some details.
(Step 8) Draw 2 “C” shapes for the nose.
(Step 9) Draw a curved line for a smile.
(Step 10) Draw a curved line for the bottom of his mouth.
(Step 11) Draw curved lines for sides of his mouth and the nostrils.
(Step 12) Draw some lines.
(Step 13) Draw 2 curved lines.
(Step 14) Blacken the inside of his mouth. Draw a slanted line on each eye.
(Step 15) Draw a backward āCā shape on each eye.
(Step 16) Draw a circle in each eye. Don’t draw the blue parts of the lines. Draw a sideways “S” shape over each eye for his eyebrows.
