Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw an oval…but don’t draw the dotted line part.

(Step 2) Draw an oval within the first oval.

(Step 3) Draw oval eyes.

(Step 4) Draw an oval mouth, a curved line for the nose, and 2 lines for the sides of his shirt.

(Step 5) Draw “C” shaped ears.

(Step 6) Draw curved lines.

(Step 7) Draw a sideways #7 shape for bangs. Draw 3 lines for legs. Draw a curved line for his collar.

(Step 8) Draw a “W” shape for hair and a curved line for part of the collar.

(Step 9) Draw a curved line and a sideways “B” shape.

(Step 10) Draw an oval and a curved line.

(Step 11) Draw a sideways “S”-like curve (in that it curves forward and then backwards).

(Step 12) Draw an oval in each eye and 2 lines under the ears.

(Step 13) Draw 2 curved lines and a partial oval.

(Step 14) Draw 3 ovals for each hand’s fingers. Draw 2 curved lines on the oval (for part of the fish’s tail).

(Step 15) Draw 2 lines to form a sideways “V”-like shape. Draw 2 ovals for the fish’s eyes.

(Step 16) Draw an upside down, curved “V” like shape on the fish’s tail. Draw a curved line on the fish bowl.

(Step 17) Draw a #8 in each of their eyes. Draw a line on fish’s back and on the fish bowl’s top.

(Step 18) Draw “U” shaped fins.

(Step 19) Draw curved lines.

(Step 20) Erase un-needed lines.
