Today I’ll show you how to draw a brain. This human brain isn’t shaded or anything, I’m just showing you how to draw the actual brain, as far as the structure goes. I have simplified the tutorial into more than 20 steps. I hope you enjoy. Happy Drawing!

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Lightly draw a sideways “D”-like shape as a guide lines for drawing the brain. This shape will be erased later.

(Step 2) Lightly draw an oval guide line.

(Step 3) Lightly draw another oval guide line. Now we can start the real lines.

(Step 4) Draw around the guide lines…make the line a little wavy, or not perfect, I mean.

(Step 5) Draw a “C”-like line and 2 curved lines, as well.

(Step 6) Draw a sideways “J”-like shape, and 2 shapes that are similar to sideways #3-like shapes.

(Step 7) Draw some wiggly, squiggly lines.

(Step 8) Draw some curved lines.

(Step 9) Draw some “S”-like curved lines.

(Step 10) Draw some more curved lines.

(Step 11) And now some squiggly lines.

(Step 12) Draw some triangle-like shapes and fill them in.

(Steps 13-16) Just keep drawing wavy, squiggly, and curved lines.

(Step 17) Draw a squiggly line and an “L” shape.

(Step 18) Draw a line and some more squiggly lines too.

(Step 19) Draw a wavy line and a backwards #3-like shape.

(Step 20) Draw a sideways “J” shape and some lines.

(Steps 21-25) Draw lines for the pattern.

(Step 26) Erase the guide lines.
