How to Draw a Chibi Spawn with Easy Step by Step Drawing Tutorial for Kids & Beginners

Today I’ll show you how to draw a cute chibi version of Spawn, an Antihero from a comic book series. I will guide you through each step of the drawing process…hopefully I have made it easy enough to follow along with. Have fun and Happy Drawing!

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw an oval – don’t draw the blue part.

(Steps 2 and 3) Draw “U”-like shapes.

(Step 4) Draw a check-mark.

(Step 5) Draw a sideways “S”-like shape.

(Steps 6 and 7) Draw #5 and backwards #5-like shapes.

(Step 8) Draw a “C-like shape and a curved line (it goes over and then under, like an “S” shape).

(Step 9) Draw some curved lines.

(Step 10) Draw #3 / letter “M”-like shapes.

(Step 11) Draw “V” and lines.

(Step 12) Draw lines and “V” shapes.

(Step 13) Draw some lines, a “V” shape and a curved line.

(Step 14) Draw some liens and a sideways “?”-like shape.

(Step 15) Draw another sideways “?”-like shape. Also draw some lines on the fingers.

(Step 16) Draw a number 2-like shape (don’t draw the blue part) and a curved line.

(Step 17) Draw a backwards “L”-like shape and a number 6-like shape.

(Step 18 and 19) Draw curved lines and “L”-like shapes.

(Step 20) Draw some #7-like shapes.

(Step 21) Draw some curved lines and a sideways “V”-like shape.

(Step 22) Draw curved lines and “S”-like shape.

(Step 23) Lightly draw guide lines for the skulls…a circle and rounded rectangle for each skull. These guides will be erased later on.

(Step 24) Outline the skull guide lines.

(Step 25) Draw egg-shaped ovals for eyes. Draw an upside down triangle for each nose. Draw lines for teeth.

(Step 26) Draw “V” shapes for spikes on the shoes.

(Step 27) Draw ovals and curved lines. Also draw lines on the chest…one taller than the other. Don’t draw the blue dotted lines.

(Step 28) Draw more lines…don’t draw the blue dotted lines.

(Step 29) Draw curved lines.

(Step 30) Draw 2 lines. Lightly draw circles…these are guides and will be erased later on.

(Step 31) Draw ovals all around the guide circles, as I have done.

(Steps 32 and 33) Draw curved lines all around the ovals…as I have done.

(Step 34) Erase guide lines and un-needed lines.

(Step 35) Color in.
