Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw an oval and a circle. Draw it very lightly, as the dotted line part is going to be erased later.

(Steps 2 & 3) Draw curved letter “L” and “W” shapes.

(Step 4) Draw a curved line, some “L” shapes, and an “M” and “W” shape.

(Step 5) Draw some curved lines and some “M” shapes

(Step 6) Draw some “S”-like curves (in that they curve forward and then backwards). Draw some “W” shapes as well.

(Step 7) Draw 2 more “S” curves and “M” shapes.

(Step 8) Draw half circles. Draw sideways “Z” shapes and curved lines.

(Step 9) Draw curved lines.

(Step 10) Draw squares that have curved corners…and a curved line. Also 2 straight lines.

(Step 11) Draw some curved lines…and a partial rectangle.

(Step 12) Draw curved lines, a sideways “J” shape and an upside down “V” shape.

(Step 13) Draw a backwards “?”-like shape…and some curved lines.

(Step 14) Draw a curved line between the eye glasses lenses. Draw #3 shapes for fingers.

(Step 15) Draw “U” like shapes and #3-like fingers.

(Step 16) Draw “V” and partial rectangle shapes.

(Step 17) Draw “V”-like shape. Draw “U” shaped arms. Draw curved lines on the boy’s clothing. Draw partial “C” shapes for his ears.

(Step 18) Draw curved lines and #3-like hands. Draw some lines on the boy.

(Step 19) Draw some lines and “J”-like shapes on the girl. Draw some lines on the boy’s face.

(Step 20) Draw a partial rectangle for the girl’s pocket. Draw lines on her legs.

(Step 21) Draw “V” shapes above the kids’ heads.

(Step 22) Draw #3-like shapes on top of the “V” shapes to form hearts.

(Step 23) Color in the kids.
