Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw a slanted “?”-like shape.

(Step 2) Draw a circle and an oval.

(Step 3) Draw an oval inside the circle (the eye). Draw an upside down #2 shape.

(Step 4) Draw a circle in the eye. Draw some curved lines.

(Step 5) Draw a curved line at the mouth and a half-circle for the shell. Don’t draw the dotted line part.

(Step 6) Draw some curved lines and ovals.

(Step 7) Draw lines for the back leg. Draw 2 more ovals in the foot.

(Step 8) Draw a curved line at the bottom of the shell and foot. Draw a sideways “V” shape for the tail.

(Step 9) Draw some lines for the other legs.

(Step 10) Draw curved lines on the belly and at the bottom of the legs.

(Step 11) Color in the turtle.
