Learn How to Draw Heart Hands in Simple Steps Drawing Lesson for Beginners and Intermediates

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Lightly draw a heart – this heart will be erased at the end, as this heart is just a guide line to get you started.

(Step 2) Draw a backwards letter ‘D’ at the top and a curved, upside down letter ‘Y’ at the bottom.

(Step 3) Draw another letter ‘D’ shape at the top. Draw 2 curved lines at the bottom.

(Step 4) Draw a curved line below the right-most letter ‘D’. Draw two upside down letter ‘L’ shapes.

(Step 5) Draw curved sideways #7 shapes at the top. Draw the bottom of the heart darker.

(Step 6) Draw curved lines for parts of the fingers…the one on the right looks like a #4 on its side.

(Step 7) Draw two more sideways #7 shapes above the previous ones. Draw another sideways #7 shape below the left-bottom finger.

(Step 8) Draw some lines…and a sideways #3-like shape in the center.

(Step 9) Draw more of the wrists. Draw some curved lines.

(Step 10) Continue to add to the hands.

(Step 11) Draw two letter ‘v’ shapes as well as an upside down letter ‘Y’ shape. Draw some lines as well. Draw curved lines for the wrinkles on the thumbs.

(Step 12) Draw 2 lines and a backwards #3 shape.

(Step 13) Draw 2 lines.

(Step 14) Shade it in as I have.
