Learn How to Draw Cute Cartoon Baby Jesus Sleeping Under the North Star from the Word “Noel” – Simple Step by Step Christmas Drawing Tutorial for Kids

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Write out the word “Noel”.

(Step 2) Draw a line across the letter ‘O’ shape and close up the letter ‘e’ to form two eyes.

(Step 3) Draw two letter ‘c’ shapes for ears. Make the letter ‘l’ longer.

(Step 4) Anything blue in this tutorial will be a guide line. All guide lines are erased at the end, so draw them lightly. Draw a circle guide line. Draw an oval for the crib / basket.

(Step 5) Draw 2 more circle guide lines. Draw letter ‘W’ shapes for hair. Draw a sideways letter ‘c’ shape for the nose.

(Step 6) Draw a line under the ‘N’ and draw a curved line to the right of the letter ‘N’ shape. Draw dots on the circles.

(Step 7) Draw a curved line above the head and for arms.

(Step 8) Draw letter ‘V’ shaped hair. Draw letter ‘J’ shaped eye lashes.

(Step 9) Draw letter ‘v’ shaped hairs. Draw letter ‘V’ shapes on the circles, using the dots to figure out where to place them.

(Step 10) Draw more letter ‘V’ shapes, again using the dots to place them.

(Step 11) Draw a curved line for the top of Jesus’ head. Draw a sideways ‘?’ shape for the thumb. Draw a line for the right side of the head.

(Step 12) Draw two curved lines.

(Step 13) Draw a half-rectangle for part of the fist.

(Step 14) Erase guide lines.

(Step 15) Color in Jesus and the crib and North star.
