Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw a backwards #3 shape.

(Step 2) Draw a backwards letter ‘c’ shape to finish up the outer face.

(Step 3) Lightly draw guidelines thru the face. These will help you place the facial features…and will be erased at the end.

(Step 4) Draw curved lines for the tops of the eyes. Draw a backwards letter ‘c’ shape for the ear.

(Step 5) Draw another curved line on tops of eyes.

(Step 6) Draw a line on the tops of the eyes. Draw a letter ‘s’ shape in the ear. Draw a letter ‘U’ shape for the bottom of the eyes.

(Step 7) Draw a letter ‘c’ shape for the left ear. Draw a letter ‘W’ shape for the bangs.

(Step 8) Draw two more letter ‘w’ shapes for the bangs.

(Step 9) Draw a partial oval for the hood.

(Step 10) Draw letter ‘M’, ‘W’, and ‘V’ shapes for the hair.

(Step 11) Draw a curved line for the inner hood. Draw 2 more lines on the hair.

(Step 12) Draw an oval in each eye. Draw upside down letter ‘U’ shape for each hand. Draw a half oval for the collar.

(Step 13) Draw upside down letter ‘v’ shape for the ears. Draw curved lines for the bottom of the arms.

(Step 14) Draw curved lines.

(Step 15) Draw letter ‘M’ and ‘W’ shapes for hair. Draw a circle in each eye. Draw a line in the center of the chest. Draw a letter ‘L’ shape for the right foot.

(Step 16) Draw a curved line for the smile. Draw an upside down ‘?’ for the tail. Draw a backwards letter ‘L’ shape for the left foot.

(Step 17) Draw an oval for each cat eye (on the hood). Draw 2 lines in each of the boy’s eyes. Draw a curved line for the bottom of the cat’s tail.

(Step 18) Draw an upside down letter ‘v’ shape in each ear. Draw a sideways #3 shape for the mouth. Draw letter ‘v’ shapes for the hair.

(Step 19) Color him in.
