Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Steps 1-5) Write the word “Toucan” out in the way I have done.

(Step 6) Erase part of the “O”.

(Step 7) Draw a line over the “U”. Draw a sideways letter “S” shape to form the bottom of the beak.

(Step 8) Draw a letter “S” on the left side. Draw a “J” curve for the top of the beak.

(Steps 9-10) Draw curved lines.

(Step 11) Draw a sideways #7 shape for the back of the bird. Draw backwards letter “C” shapes to form parts of the claws.

(Step 12) Draw some lines and more letter “C” shapes.

(Step 13) Draw some lines and more letter “C” shapes.

(Step 14) Draw leaf shape and some lines.

(Step 15) Draw more leaf shapes. Ignore the curved line on the eye…you already drew this.

(Step 16) Erase guidelines.

(Step 17) Color the toucan and branch in.
