Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Write the word “kitty”.

(Step 2) draw a line thru the two letter ‘t’ shapes.

(Step 3) Turn the letter ‘t’ shapes into eyes by drawing rectangles like I did.

(Step 4) Draw half circles in the eyes.

(Step 5) Draw an oval for the nose and a backwards #3 for the mouth.

(Step 6) Draw a letter ‘M’ shape for the ears.

(Step 7) Draw a #3 shape for the back foot.

(Step 8) Draw a line on the back leg and draw a tall oval for the arm holding up his head.

(Step 9) Draw curved lines and a backwards ‘?’ shape to start off the tail.

(Step 10) Draw a backwards letter ‘C’ shape to finish the tail. Draw a backwards letter ‘j’ shape to finish the right arm.

(Step 11) Draw some more curved lines.

(Step 12) Draw lines on the collar and upside down letter ‘v’ shapes inside the ears.

(Step 13) Draw a square on the collar and an oval-like shape for the mouse’s body.

(Step 14) Draw an oval nose on the mouse and letter ‘U’ shaped ears.

(Step 15) Draw another letter ‘U’ shape inside each ear and draw curved lines for eyes.

(Step 16) Draw a sideways #3 shape for the mouse’s mouth and a ‘?’-like shape for the tail.

(Step 17) Draw another ‘?’ shape to finish off the tail. Also draw sideways letter ‘U’ shaped arms.

(Step 18) Erase part of the mouth and part of the cat’s right arm so that the mouse looks like it is under the cat’s paw. Color him in if you want to.
