Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions
(Step 1) Write the Spanish word for cat, “gato”.
(Step 2) Turn the ‘a’ into a backwards letter ‘g’ shape. These ‘g’ and the ‘a’ are the eyes. Draw a circle in each eye.
(Step 3) Draw a curved line on top of the ‘g’ – this will be the first cat. Draw an oval for its nose. Draw a checkmark shape on top of the ‘t’ for the 2nd cat’s ear. Draw a line as well.
(Step 4) Draw a letter ‘v’ shape for the 1st cat’s ear. Draw a curved line on top of the 2nd cat’s head.
(Step 5) Draw letter ‘v’ shapes on the 2nd cat for its pattern. Draw a triangle for its nose. Draw a line connecting the head to the rest of the body.
(Step 6) Draw two sideways letter ‘U’ shapes for the front legs. Draw a curved line for each cat’s mouth.
(Step 7) Draw a few lines on the cats.
(Step 8) Draw upside down ‘?’ shapes for the back paws.
(Step 9) Draw a line for the back leg of each cat.
(Step 10) Draw an oval on the 1st cat and lines in all of the paws.
(Step 11) Draw a letter ‘s’ shape for each tail. Draw a line for the 1st cat’s back.
(Step 12) Draw a curved line to finish off both tails.
