Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Use a cup or a bowl to trace a circle.

(Step 2-4) To make it easier on yourself, lightly draw guidelines thru the circle. This will help you place the lines in the correct spot. Guide-lines are erased at the end, so draw them lightly.

(Step 5) Use the guide-lines to help you place this curved line.

(Step 6) Draw the same curved line, just slightly to the right. Make sure the ends are closer together with the previous curved line’s ends (than the middle, that is).

(Step 7) Draw a curved line across the center (horizontally, aka side to side).

(Step 8) Draw the same curved line, just lower.

(Step 9) Draw a sideways ?-like shape.

(Step 10) Draw the same line again, except a little lower. The left-side of this line should touch the previous line (from step #9)

(Step 11) Draw another ?-like shape, except this time, in the other direction.

(Step 12) Draw the previous line again, except this time lower.

(Step 13) Fill in all the lines with black.

(Step 14) Here is the ball that we were drawing, except in color.
