Today I am going to show you how to draw a classic Disney character that you might not know even existed. It is Elliot, the dragon from Pete’s Dragon….not the one that is out right now, but the one from the 1970s. If you went out and saw the new one, you are going to love the old one. It was one of my favorites growing up. Have fun learning how to draw this cute dragon.

(Step 1) Start off the drawing with 2 ovals.
(Step 2) Then add to the drawing by adding 2 curved lines for the neck. Draw a sideways letter ‘s’ like shape along with a #5-like shape for the tail and thigh.
(Step 3) Draw a #5 shape for the chine..draw a #6 shape for the right ear. Draw 2 ovals for arms. Draw a ?-like shape on the tail…draw a letter ‘z’ shape for the foot.
(Step 4) Draw a line on the face. Draw a #7 and ‘?’ shape for the left wing. Draw some shapes on the arms. Draw a curved line on the tail.
(Step 5) Draw a flatted letter ‘s’-like shape on the tail. Draw a curved line on top of the head. Draw a letter ‘J’ shape for the smile. Draw a curved line on the wings. Draw an upside down letter ‘U’ shape along with a #7 shape on the right hand. Draw 2 letter ‘D’ shapes…one on the right foot and one on the end of the left foot…also draw a curved line.
(Step 6) Draw a sideways #3 shape for the lines that will be above the eyes. Draw 2 curved lines on the neck. Draw a ?-like shape on the wings. Draw a backwards ?-like shape on the right hand. Draw a letter ‘j’ curved line on the left hand. Draw letter ‘c’ shapes for nostrils. Draw a curved line for a toe on each foot.
(Step 7) Draw a letter ‘u’ shape on each nostril. Draw #3-like humps on the wings. Draw a letter ‘D’ shape on the right hand. Draw a curved line on the tummy Draw a sideways, flattened letter ‘s’-like shape on the tail.
(Step 8) Draw sideways letter ‘M’-like shapes for hair. Draw letter ‘v’ shape on top of each nostril. Draw a curved line on the wing. Draw a sideways letter ‘c’ shape for bottom of mouth. Draw a curved line for each brow. Draw a backwards letter ‘L’-like shape on the left hand. Draw a line and curved line on the left foot. Draw curved lines on end of tail. Draw triangle on right foot.
(Step 9) Draw letter ‘v’ and ‘M’ shapes for hair. Draw sideways letter ‘U’ shape on left ear. Draw a curved line on wing. Draw an apple by drawing a circle that has a #3-like curve at the top. Draw a curved line for a tooth. Draw a line on the left hand. Draw triangle nails on feet. Draw some curved lines on leg.
(Step 10) Draw some letter ‘U’, ‘V’, and oval shapes for humps on back. Draw more zig-zag shaped hair. Draw curved line on right hand.
(Step 11) Draw lines on stomach and tail. Draw letter ‘V’ shape in wing. Draw line in mouth. Draw curved line on tail.
(Step 12) Draw curved line on bottom of some of the humps on back. Draw odd-shaped ovals on body. Draw a line at bottom of right elbow. Draw some lines on nose. Draw a ‘v’ shape on left ear and a curved line on the right one.
