Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw a letter ‘M’-like shape.

(Step 2) Draw another letter ‘m’ on the top…and draw a line in the center.

(Step 3) Draw yet another letter ‘M’-like shape for the inside of the hat. Draw sideways uppercase letter ‘B’ shape for the bottom of the boots.

(Step 4) Draw lowercase letter ‘d’ and ‘b’ for eyes. Draw a letter ‘v’ shape for the collar. Draw an uppercase letter ‘T’ for the top of the boots.

(Step 5) Draw a curved line on the hat. Draw letter ‘c’ shapes in a few places. Draw 2 lines for the belt.

(Step 6) Draw a letter ‘c’ shape in the ears. Draw a sideways uppercase letter ‘D’ shape for the mouth. Draw a sideways letter ‘M’ shape on the scarf. Draw a sideways #8 shape for fingers. Draw a line for the bottom of the right arm. Draw a rectangle on the belt.

(Step 7) Draw a letter ‘L’ shape for the left arm. Draw a #8 shape for some of the fingers. Draw a letter ‘s’ shape for the bottom of the lasso. Draw dots in eyes.

(Step 8) Draw a #3 shape for the left hand. Draw an oval for the top of the lasso.

(Step 9) Now your cowboy is done.

(Step 10) Color it in if you like.
