Written Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1-7) Write out the word “Elephant” in the way that we have laid out in steps 1 thru 7.

(Step 8) Draw a letter “v” shaped tail. Draw a few other lines.

(Step 9) Draw a backwards letter “J” shape for the top of the trunk. Draw a sideways letter “V” shape for the tip of the trunk. Draw a sideways letter “J” shape for the back thigh. Draw 2 lines in the front feet.

(Step 10) Draw a curved line at the end of the smile and for the top of the head. Draw another line on the tip of the trunk.

(Step 11) Draw a letter “C” shape for the ear and a curved line within it. Draw an oval for the eye.

(Step 12) Color in the elephant, add grass and clouds to finish up the picture.
