Learn How to Draw a Cartoon Puppy from the Word Puppy : Simple Step by Step Drawing Tutorial for Children

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Write out the word “puppy” with lowercase letters.

(Step 2) Draw letter ‘j’ shapes on the right side of each letter ‘p’ to form eyes.

(Step 3) Draw curved lines above the letter ‘u’ and ‘y’ to form ears.

(Step 4) Draw a letter ‘U’ shape at between the ‘u’ and ‘y’ to form a face.

(Step 5) Draw a straight line to form the puppy’s back.

(Step 6) Draw a curved line for the top of the head. Draw a letter ‘L’ shape to finish the dog’s body.

(Step 7) Draw curved lines for the dog’s paws. Draw a #3 shape for the back leg.

(Step 8) Draw letter ‘S’ shapes for the dog’s leash.

(Step 9) Draw a rectangle at the end of the leash. Draw a “?” shape at the end of the leash

(Step 10) Draw a 2nd “?” shape. Draw a rectangle inside the “?” shapes to finish off the leash.
