How to Draw A Cartoon Dog Hanging Out from the Word ‘dog’ : Easy Tutorial for Kids

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Start off with the word ‘dog’, written out the way we have it above.

(Step 2) Draw a curved line on the front of the letter ‘d’ to make it look like a backwards letter ‘g’. Draw a line on the ‘o’ making it look like a letter ‘d’. Draw an oval nose in the center of the face.

(Step 3) Draw ovals for the ears on top of the lines sticking up. Draw a letter ‘u’ shape at the bottom of the dog for the stomach.

(Step 4) Draw a sideways, capital letter ‘B’ shape for the eyes. Draw a curved line for the mouth and 2 curved lines for each leg.

(Step 5) Draw a letter ‘U’ shape for the stomach. Draw curved lines in the paws. Draw a line for the tree branch.

(Step 6) Draw a line for the bottom of tree branch. Draw a line on each ear. Draw an oval in each eye. Draw an oval for each foot.

(Step 7) Draw a letter ‘u’ for the tongue. Draw a line on each side of tummy. Draw a sideways letter ‘v’ shape in center of branch. Draw curved lines in each foot.

(Step 8) Darken lines and fill in the ears and nose.
