Learn how to draw, color in, and shade a bottle and glass of wine. Believe it or not, this is relatively easy. I believe that you could probably draw this without my help, but you need a little guidance. So I will show you how I would draw it, and you can follow along. Have fun.
How to Draw a Bottle of Wine and Glass of Wine : Easy Step by Step Drawing Lesson
[ad#draw]
Written-Out Step by Step Instructions
(Step 1) Draw a letter ‘U’ shape for the top of the glass.
(Step 2) Draw a line across the top of the ‘U’. Then draw an oval with the same width below it.
(Step 3) Draw a smooshed oval inside the glass…this will be the wine. Draw the stem of the glass by drawing two curved lines.
(Step 4) Draw a curved line at the bottom of the glass’s stem. Draw another oval to the right of the cup. This will be the bottom of the wine bottle.
(Step 5) Draw some ovals…these will be used in the next step to draw the outline of the bottle. The 2 bottom ovals are the same width. The next oval up is significantly less wide. The next 3 are just slightly less wide, but the same width as each other. Then the last oval is slightly less wide.
(Step 6) Use the ovals to outline the wine bottle.
(Step 7) The wine glass is distorting the wine bottle that is seen through it. This odd shaped line is the wine bottle’s shape through the glass.
(Step 8 – 12) Erase lines that you don’t need any more (such as ovals. Also erase the original wine bottle line that you drew on the left side of the bottle (the part that was seen through the wine glass).
Then color in the glass and bottle using either colored pencils, pastels, or paints. Follow the way I color in and smudge colors together.
Have fun and good luck.
