Written-Out Step by Step Instructions
(Step 1) Start off by drawing the word ‘Dog’ on an upward slant, as I did in the picture.
(Step 2) Draw a dot in the letter ‘g’. Draw a backwards letter ‘c’ shape on the right side of the ‘g’. Also draw a filled in circle on the bottom of the ‘g’ (for the dog’s nose).
(Step 3) Draw a dot in the letter ‘c’ shape that you just drew. This is his right eye. Draw a curved line from the right eye over to the letter ‘o’ shape. Draw a sideways letter ‘D’ shape on the bottom of the original letter ‘D’ shape. Draw a tongue by drawing a letter ‘u’ shape.
(Step 4) Draw the dog’s ears…each ear is like a letter ‘U’ shape that has tops turned inwards. Draw a line in the tongue. Draw a backwards letter ‘S’ shape for the dog’s tail.
(Step 5) Draw a curved zig-zagged line to finish off the tail. Draw 2 lines for the dog’s body.
(Step 6) Draw a sideways #3 shape for the legs of the dog. Draw 2 curved lines in the back foot.
(Step 7) Draw a curved line at the end of the leg. Draw 2 lines in each foot.
(Step 8) Color in the dog.
