Written-Out Step by Step Instructions
(Step 1) Draw an odd shaped oval. Draw guidelines thru it (lightly as they will be erased later).
(Step 2) Draw ovals for eyes. Draw a #3 shape for the hair on the back of her head. Draw 2 lines for her neck. Lightly draw a letter ‘X’ guideline for her body.
(Step 3) Draw ovals in her eyes. Use the body guideline and outline the letter ‘x’ as we did. Draw a letter ‘C’ ear. Lightly draw arm guidelines.
(Step 4) Draw her eye lids by drawing a curved line on the left eye and a sideways ?-like shape on the right eye. Outline the arm guidelines. Draw curved lines on bottoms of her legs. Draw moon shapes in her eyes. Draw a letter ‘C’ shape to finish the back of her hair.
(Step 5) Draw letter ‘S’ shapes for the hairs hanging from her face. Draw ovals in her eyes. Draw a few curved lines on her body. Draw sideways letter ‘R’ shapes for her feet.
(Step 6) Draw an upside down letter ‘V’ shape for her bangs. Draw a sideways letter ‘s’-like shape at her neck. Draw a letter ‘V’ shape on her body. Draw a few curved lines on her arms. Draw a #9 shape on her left hand and a backwards #3 shape on her right hand. Draw sideways letter ‘E’ shapes for the strips of cloth hanging down.
(Step 7) Draw more letter ‘S’ shapes to finish the hair hanging down from her face. Draw lines for her staff. Also draw a #3 shape for her fingers on her left hand. Draw some other details.
(Step 8) Add some curved lines above and below staff. Draw some curved lines on her shoes. Add her nose and mouth and a few more details on her clothing.
(Step 9) finish up the staff and add finishing details.
(Step 10) Lay down some solid colors.
(Step 11) Add some lines in her hair and add a bit of shading to clothing.
