This is a simple drawing tutorial that would be great for kids just learning how to draw. I found this in a book from the late 1800s and it is such a great lesson. You start off by just drawing the basic shapes of the tent and then you just add some character to the shape and you have a camping tent. Find the tutorial below!
First draw a triangle on a slight angle.
Draw a 2nd triangle at the same angle.

Draw lines attaching both triangles together.
Lightly draw a line thru the center in the front.
– Draw a curved triangle for the front flap.
– Draw 3 curved lines along the right edge of the tent.
– Add a few other details.
– I hope that your tent turned out great. You can color in your tent or shade it in to give it more depth and character.
