How to Draw an Easy-to-Draw Santa Clause for Christmas

Step 1

Lightly draw a sideways capital ‘D’ shape.

Step 2

Lightly draw a circle on top of the ‘D’ shape. Then lightly draw a sideways letter ‘D’ shape inside of the circle.

Step 3

Draw an oval for the nose and each eye. Draw a letter ‘C’ shape for each ear. Draw 2 curved lines for the mouth.

Step 4

Draw a sideways number 3 shape for the legs. Draw ovals for eye brows.

Step 5

Use the letter ‘D’ shape inside the face as a guide to where to draw squiggly lines. Lightly draw an oval for the beard.

Step 6

Lightly draw squiggly lines all around the beard-oval and above the ears.

Step 7

Draw L-Shapes for the arms.

Step 8

Draw a letter ‘J’ shape on each arm.

Step 9

Draw #3 shapes for mittens.

Step 10

Draw 2 rounded squares for the belt buckle.

Step 11

Draw 2 curved lines for the belt. Use the guides to help you draw the coat sides and bottom.

Draw sideways #2 shapes for part of the boots.

Step 13

Draw a letter ‘L’ shape for the backs of each boot.

Step 14

Finish the shoes off. Draw 3 curved lines for the bottom of the cap. Then draw 2 triangles (lightly) for the rest of the cap.

Step 15

Lightly draw a circle

Draw squiggly lines all over the cap’s circle and draw the hat using the guides. Erase any guide lines that you don’t need any more.
