How to Draw Granny Smith from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic with Easy Step by Step Drawing Tutorial

Step 1

First you need to lightly draw an apple shaped oval and a rounded rectangle-like shape for the body and face. Then draw guidelines within the face to help place the facial features later.

Step 2

Draw her eye sockets and nose.

Step 3

Complete drawing her right eye socket and chin (lower mouth).

Step 4

Draw her eyes and thicken the line on top of each eye. Draw her ear and also add details to the inside of her mouth.

Step 5

Draw the top of her hair, her eye lashes and her pupils.

Step 6

Continue drawing her hair, then add details to her cheek and also add highlights to her eyes.

Step 7

Draw her neck and add highlights to her hair.

Step 8

Now start drawing her clothing (Number “17” like shape) and her cupcake cutie mark.

Step 9

Add some details to her clothing and continue drawing her cutie mark by drawing a squiggly line. Draw a thick line for her behind and back leg, then draw a thick sideways letter ‘S’ shape for the front of her legs.

Step 10

Add more details to the cutie mark and clothing. Then draw her tail.

Step 11

Add final details to her tail, cutie mark and clothing. Start drawing her back leg by drawing a “L” like shape and ‘J’ like shape for her front leg.

Step 12

Continue her back leg by drawing a letter ‘R’ shape and her front leg by drawing a sideways letter ‘V’ shape. Draw her walker by drawing two “A” like shapes.

Step 13

Complete her back leg and top part of her walker. Start drawing the bottom of the walker like the illustration above.

Step 14

Finally complete the walker and her clothing.
