How to Draw Cartoon Dolphins with Easy Step by Step Drawing Instructions

Step 1

Start off by drawing 2 ovals as seen above.

Step 2

Draw a sideways letter ‘s’ and ‘u’ shape as pictured above.

Step 3

Then color everything else on the head that is under that line white. Draw a circle….everything under the line should be black and above the line should be light blue for a highlight.

Step 4

To draw the upper fin, draw a slanted line on the left and on the right an inward curved line. To draw the eyes just draw an oval and erase a circle out of that shape.

Step 5

Draw a white oval inside the belly of the dolphin. Draw 2 letter ‘s’ shapes…one is a backwards letter ‘s’ shape.

Step 6

Draw an upside down letter ‘u’ in the center of the ‘s’ shapes.

Step 7

Find the bottom fins by just connecting the ‘s’ shapes with the ‘u’ shape with a curved line. The side fins should be sideways letter ‘v’ shapes.

Step 8

Now your dolphin is finished…feel free to change or add to the cartoon standing dolphin.
