How to Draw Cartoon Toucans with Easy Step by Step Drawing Tutorial

Step 1

Start off by drawing a number ‘8’ shape  … this is for the toucan’s body.

Now draw a yellow circle inside the black body. For the beak…draw a curved, sideways letter ‘v’ shape.

Step 3

Now draw a lot of lines around the circle, as picture above, to look like fur or feathers. Draw a sideways letter ‘s’ in the beak.

Step 4

Draw a large white circle for the eye. Draw the top, beginning portion of the beak black.

Step 5

Draw 2 more circles in the eye. Draw a sideways letter ‘v’ for the branch that the toucan is sitting upon.

Step 6

Draw a white highlight in the bird’s eye. Draw 2 curved letter ‘m’ shapes for the claws.

Step 7

Draw a white highlight on the top of the beak…this is the light shimmering off of the beak.
