How to Draw Cartoon Manatees in Easy Step by Step Drawing Lesson

Step 1

Firstly, draw a sideways water drop (or a circle with a triangle or a ‘v’ at one end).

Step 2

Next draw a circle with a rectangle to the bottom left side of the first shape that you drew.

Step 3

Now draw the fins – a letter ‘B’ shape and a letter ‘u’ shape on the right.

Step 4

Now draw both eyes…2 big circles for the outer eyes. For the pupils / irises draw 2 smaller circles.

Step 5

For the highlights of the eyes, just draw a white circle on the upper right corners of the irises. Also , draw 2 curved lines over the fin.

Step 6

Now for the Manatee’s snout, draw a circle with a sideways number ‘3’ at the bottom of it.

Step 7

Now to finish off the cartoon manatee, draw a bunch of dots for whisker pores. Draw an oval for each nostril. That was it….you drew an adorable cartoon manatee.
