How to Draw Cartoon Crabs Step by Step Drawing Tutorial

Step 1

Start off by drawing a diamond, or a sideways square. Lightly draw a letter ‘t’ within the diamond.

Step 2

Now use the diamond and the ‘t’ to help you draw the shape that you see inside of it.

Step 3

Now start drawing the crab’s claws.

Step 4

Draw the rest of the claws and also draw the crab’s legs.

Step 5

IF YOU WANT TO DRAW THIS CRAB AS A CARTOON – SKIP STEP 5 and INSTEAD USE STEP 6!!

Finish drawing the claws … and if you are going to draw him realistically….draw him like this.

Step 6

Draw the mouth as a sideways capital letter ‘D’. Draw a letter ‘m for the tongue.

Step 7

Draw ovals for eyes. Slant them inwards for sad eyes.

Step 8

Draw 2 more ovals inside the eyes.

Step 9

Draw highlights inside the eyes by drawing white circles. If you want to make the crab happy instead…make the mouth into a smiley shape and turn the eyes so they are straight up instead.
