First of all…start off by lightly sketching the basic shapes of Simba’s face….see all the circles / ovals? Also draw guidelines around the face to help place the facial features.
Lightly Sketch the basic shape of Simba’s body…a number ‘8’ like shape.
Now draw some more basic shapes that you see in the body…such as the legs ….see all the ovals? You might see more number ‘8’s.
Lightly sketch the basic shapes of the toes … ovals. Also start drawing the shape of the body by using the shapes that you drew in previous steps to guide you.
Again…use the basic shapes to guide you through drawing the fur. Draw the nose and top of the head.

I've just finished my Simba, but it's not as good as yours:( How do you do that? I have a problem with capturing the character's look; yours looks just like the real deal. It's amazing.
