How to Draw Spud or Arthur Spudinski from American Dragon Jake Long in Step by Step Drawing Lesson

Step 1

Draw the basic shapes that make up Spud’s form.

Step 2

Draw a curved line for his chin. Draw a letter ‘J’ like shape for his nose….and his mouth is made up of an ‘s’ and a backwards letter ‘s’.

Step 3

Draw a letter ‘c’ for the ear and a backwards letter ‘J’ inside of it. Draw a curved line for each eye. Draw 3 dots on each cheek for freckles. Draw his eye brows (the one on the right is a sideways letter ‘s’) and the side of his face.

Step 4

Draw a sideways ‘7’ for both eye lids. Draw a backwards letter ‘c’ for the right-side ear with a letter ‘J’ inside of it. Draw zig zag shapes for bangs that resemble letter ‘w’s.

Step 5

Draw each sleeve. Draw his hat too.
