How to Draw Cartoon Doggy in Easy Step by Step Drawing Lessons

Step 1

Start out with a circle and an oval.

Step 2

Connect the circle and oval together.

Step 3

Draw an oval for the eye (half way between the circle and the oval) and a sideways triangle for the nose.

Step 4

Draw a sideways number ‘8’ for the body.

Step 5

Draw a backwards letter ‘D’ for the back thigh. Draw a circle for the front shoulder…and an oval for each of the feet.

Step 6

This is what is should look like now.

Step 7

Put in some details such as a letter ‘J’ for the mouth…and a half-oval for the eye’s pupil / iris. Also draw the fur with zig-zaggety lines.
