How to Draw Sylvester Cat from Looney Tunes Cartoons in Easy Steps Drawing Lesson

Today, I will show you how to draw Sylvester Cat … the cat who is always to trying to capture Tweetie Bird from Looney Tunes. Sylvester is from the Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of animated cartoon. Learn how to draw him in the following step by step drawing lesson for kids, teens, and others. Step 1

Step 1) Draw two ovals for the head and the nose (notice, the top of nose is slightly lower than the middle of the head)

Step 2

Step 2) Now, draw the eyes and the mouth.

Step 3

Step 3) Draw the whiskers, the eyelids, the ears, and the neck. Erase the lines that we don’t need anymore, when finished.

Step 4

Step 4) Draw the cat’s chicks. For the body, draw an oval and a circle, like you see on the picture.

Step 5

Step 5) Now join the oval and the circle with smooth lines, then start drawing the legs and the arms.

Step 6

Step 6) Draw the tail, then add more detail to the head: hair, ears, chicks. Draw the tongue.

Step 7

Step 7) Continue to draw the hands, draw the toes.

Step 8

Step 8) Now, add more detail to the arms, to the feet, to the tail, to the belly.

Step 9

Step 9) Erase all the auxiliary lines to clean up your drawing. All the lines should look neat and smooth.

Step 10

Step 10) Start inking your drawing, notice how the eyebrows created during inking. Also notice that some lines became white where the body was inked black.

That’s it! Done! Just add red to the nose and pink to the tongue! 🙂
