Santa Clause has many elves to help him make and wrap toys and other gifts. Today we will show you how to draw one of these cartoon-style Christmas Elves. Here are the steps to drawing them.

How to Draw a Christmas Elf with Step by Step Elves Drawing Tutorial

Step 1

Draw an oval for the elf’s face. Lightly sketch guidelines around the face to help you place the facial features. Draw circles for each eye as well as each pupil. Draw an oval for a nose.

Step 2

Create the basic shapes of the Elf. Create a oval-ish circle for the head and nose, circles for the eyes and pupils, a semicircle for the mouth and small ovals for the  ears.

Step 3

Draw an oval for the body, a line for the neck and lines for each leg as well as a circle at the bottom of each leg line.

Step 4

Creating the body. Create a rectangle for the chest (within the oval), also add two lines with circles for the arms. Add a semircle and two lines for the legs, finally a circle with 2 rounded rectangles for the feet.

Step 5

Now add the hat. Create a curvy shape and add a circle at the top.

Step 6

Add more clothes by drawing lines around the guides, draw the apron, the pants, and also the shoes, using curved lines.

Erase the guidelines and refine the drawing.

Now colorize Santa’s elf if you want to and then just show it off to all of your friends and family members.
