How to Draw Santa Clause & Reindeer and Flying Sleigh for Christmas Drawing Tutorial for Kids, Teens, and Others

Step 1

Start off drawing the basic shapes of Santa Clause by drawing a letter ‘8’ like shape (big circle and little circle).

Step 2

Draw guides on the face to help place the facial features. Draw a circle for the ear and nose.

Step 3

Now that you have started off by drawing the basic shapes of Santa…lets move on a bit. You created circles for the head and body…now add circles for the shoulders and hand. Add semicircles for the eyes. Add the beard and had using curved lines.

Step 4

Draw a circle for his bag.

Step 5

Draw a letter ‘s’ on both sides of the bag (the one on the left is backwards of course). Connect them with a line.

Step 6

Drawing the sled and gift bag. Create curved lines for the sled, and then   a rounded shape for the gift bag

Step 7

Start off by drawing the 2 reindeer by drawing a sideways number ‘8’ and a hinged line and then another circle.

Step 8

Now lightly draw 2 ovals. Draw the legs by drawing lines and circles as seen above. Draw a curved rectangle at the right of the reindeer for the snouts.

Step 9

Drawing Santa`s reindeer. Create the basic shapes of the reindeer by drawing circles for the head, and body parts, add a curved line for the main shape of the body, also legs, then draw around the guidelines to fill the body.

Step 10

Add details to the sled and reindeer, draw  2 curved lines,   also for the belts.

Step 11

Erase the guidelines and refine the drawing.
