Rugrats has been around for about 2 decades and it is a great show that most, if not all, kids love. Well, I have put together an easy step by step drawing tutorial that builds up Chuckie’s form with simple shapes, numbers, and letters. Not only will young kids be able to do this, but also teens and adults will enjoy it as well. Find the easy lesson & instructions below. Good luck.

First off, draw the basic shapes that make up Chuckie’s form. Lightly draw guidelines around Chuckie’s face to help place facial features.
Now focus on Chuckie’s face. Draw dots for eyes, an upside down letter ‘u’ for the nose…with 2 dots for nostrils. Draw a sideways, curvy, capital letter ‘A’ for Chuckie’s mouth. Use the guidelines to figure out where to place the eyes, nose, and mouth.
Draw curved lines for eyebrows. Draw squares for the eyeglass lenses. Draw a curve under the mouth for a chin. Draw a letter ‘c’ for the ear with a curvy capital letter ‘T’ inside the ear.
Draw a cured line above the head, then within it, draw curvy, flame-like hair. Draw another curved square inside the earlier square to form the eyeglasses. Draw a number ‘3’ for the tongue (sideways) and draw another one behind it. Draw curved rectangle for the teeth.
Start adding form and mass to the stick figure body that you drew in step number 1. Draw ovals for fingers and for the feet. Start drawing the clothes around his body.
Start drawing wrinkles in the clothes….use the ovals to draw the fingers. Start drawing this shoes too.
Draw the patterns in the clothes and curve up the shoes and socks.
