Hanukkah is coming up in a few days. I thought that I would make a Hanukkah menorah drawing tutorial for those Jewish kids out there who don’t know how to draw one yet. Below, learn how to draw one in easy steps. I accidentally drew the 7-branched menorah which is for daily use, the 9-branch menorah is to be used for Hanukkah…here is the 9-branch menorah tutorial.
Draw the skeletonized version of a menorah. First draw a vertical line, and then draw 3 letter ‘u’s, each one consecutively bigger than the last one. At the bottom draw a cone shape.
At the top of each line draw 2 ovals, like seen above.
Now connect each set of ovals with 2 lines so that it looks like a cylinder shape (tube shape).
Now draw the form / mass around the stick / skeleton menorah drawing that we made in step #1. Also turn the a bit when you go from a straight edge to the cylinder shape, and also at the bottom where it turns from straight to the cone.
Color the form in gray.
Take white and highlight the form where I have.
Now find a darker gray and color in shadows where I have.Blend a bit.
Now draw a black outline around the menorah. Have a great Hanukkah guys…now you can draw a Menorah on your Hanukkah cards.

it doesnt look likee menorah!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just stumbled on your website, for "how to draw a Hanukkah menorah." You might want to know that you indeed did draw a menorah (7 branches). But, for Hanukkah, you would want a different candelabra -- one for 9 candles total, it is more accurately called a "chanukiah" although most people don't make that distinction. In any case, the candelabra you show is most definitely not used for the 8-night holiday of Hanukkah. Happy Hanukkah.
Thank you! I should know that. Woops. :) Next Hanukkah I will do better. LOL
