Step 1 Drawing Tutorial of Tea Pot from the Side

Lets first draw a tea pot from the site. Start by drawing a circle with crosshairs in them. Start drawing the lid and spout as well…the crosshairs help show you where to put them.

Step 2

Draw the lid handle by drawing an oval…draw the handle by drawing a backwarfds bubble letter ‘c’ like shape. Also start drawing the base by drawing an inwards curve at the bottom of the pot.

Step 3 – Finished Drawing of a Tea Pot from the Side

Finish up the drawing of the tea pot to look something like the above picture…notice that the spout is forked by drawing a sideways letter ‘v’ in the spout. Notice how the tea pot is shadowed to make it appear 3 dimensional and spherical.

Now lets draw the tea pot from the front. Draw a circle. In the center of the teapot draw a tall capital letter ‘M’. This is the spout. The letter ‘M’ sites on a sideways letter ‘O’.

The cover of the teapot is a sideways oval. The handle is a much smaller oval. Start drawing the base as an inwards curve.

Now finish up the drawing of the teapot by finishing the base of the teapot and by shadowing the teapot to make it more spherical.
