Step 7

Now lets start drawing Chowder’s hat. Lets first lightly sketch the basic lines that make up the hat. Draw 2 tall triangles that criss-cross to form an ‘x’ shape. Look at the picture above and draw it in the way that is easiest for you. Notice that the bottom of the hat, crosses over Chowder’s eyes…and the ‘x’ criss-crosses at the top of Chowder’s head.

Step 8

Draw curvy lines at the right and the left side of the hat shape that you drew in the previous step.

Step 9

Now draw a number ‘3’ shape with an extra hump on the top right side of the hat and a backwards number ‘3’ with an extra hump on the top left side of the hat.

Step 10

Now draw curvy lines along the hat form that you drew in step #7 to finish off the hat.

Step 11

Now draw a downwards curved line at the bottom of the hat (as seen above). Also draw a curvy line above it.

Step 12

Now we will draw the outline of Chowder’s face. We drew this in step #1…right now, we are just re-drawing it in a more confident manner…instead of the lightly sketched manner.

Step 13

Now draw the top of Chower’s shirt, as seen above.
