Step 6

Now draw the eye brows for each eye (highlighted in green). Draw the right side of the mouth (highlighted in orange). Draw a sideways black triangle shape, and fill it in with black, on the left side of the mouth. Draw the raccoon’s ears  by drawing sideways letter ‘v’ shapes (highlighted in pink).

Step 7

Now lets start working on the raccoon’s body. Remember that in step #1, we drew the raccoon’s oval body. Now lets draw a rectangle under the chin (highlighted in orange) and behind it draw a much smaller one (also in orange). Then draw a purple highlighted triangle on the bottom of each orange triangle. At the back of the raccoon, draw 2 inwards curved lines and connected by a straight line (highlighted in green).

Step 8

Now draw zig-zaggy lines inside the tail and in side the feet (for nails). Draw an oval at the back of the oval (highlighted in red). Draw a backwards letter ‘s’ under the oval (highlighted in purple). Draw the shape that is highlighted in yellow).

Step 9

Draw a sideways number ‘2’ (highlighted in pink). Draw zig-zaggy shapes in each foot (for nails)…draw a zig-zaggy line between the 2 lets that are closer to us (also highlighted in green).

Now just erase lines that you don’t need and outline the ‘correct’ lines with a black pen or marker. Making thick, interesting lines instead of the thin pencil lines makes quite a difference in the end result, doesn’t it?
