I don’t know any kids who don’t just LOVE the Disney show, Phineas and Ferb (and that includes me … a grown woman). Anyways, do you want to learn how to draw Isabella … the girl who has a crush on Phineas? Well, I have put together an easy step by step drawing tutorial that builds up Isabella’s form with simple shapes, numbers, and letters. Not only will young kids be able to do this, but also teens and adults will enjoy it as well. Find the easy lesson & instructions below. Good luck.

How to Draw Isabella from Phineas and Ferb Step by Step Drawing Lesson
Step 1
First draw the shape of Isabella’s face…it is the shape of a letter ‘U’. The dash marks are places where you might want to draw lighter since they will be erased later.
Step 2
Isabella’s face is turned towards the left so her facial features will be closer to the left side of her face. Lightly draw light lines in half horizontally and vertically as seen above. Think of Isabella’s face as a ball … that is why the lines are going around her face instead of straight across and straight down.
Step 3
Now put Isabella’s nose in the center of both half lines…her nose looks like a sideways letter ‘c’. Now draw Isabella’s right eye. Her eyes look like ovals.
Step 4
Now draw Isabella’s other eye. Also draw 2 downward turned lines on each eye, for her eye lashes.
Step 5
Now draw a smaller, downward turned oval on the top-right side of each eye (this will be her iris). Also draw a small circle highlight on the top-right corner of each iris, for the pupil.
Step 6
Now draw Isabella’s smile….it is more of a smirk, then a smile so start it under the nose and curve it up until it is about the point that the right eye starts. Also draw Isabella’s hair line. Notice (highlighted in yellow) the sideways letter ‘T’ shape.
Step 7
Now draw the outer portion of Isabella’s hair. It is flat on top…and then comes down to a point.
From the chin to the bottom of the hair is about the size of Isabella’s head…notice the picture above.
Step 8
Now start drawing Isabella’s bow, on the top of her head. by drawing 2 letter ‘v’ like shapes that are turned into the center a bit (like pictured above).
Step 9
Now draw 2 sideways letter ‘T’s in the bow (look at the above picture for the ‘T’s). Also draw Isabella’s chin by drawing a square shape (without a top ).
Step 10
Now draw a letter ‘u’ like shape under the square neck we just drew.
Step 11
Now start drawing Isabella’s dress by drawing a backwards number ‘7’ like shape on the left, and a number ‘7’ like shape on the right.
Step 12
Now close her dress with a line. Also start drawing Isabella’s arm sleeves by drawing a letter ‘L’ like shape on the left, and a backwards letter ‘L’ like shape on the right.
Step 13
Now finish of the left sleeve with a line. Also start drawing Isabella’s arms by drawing a bubble number ‘7’ like shape on the left.
Step 14
Now draw yet another backwards ‘L’ like shape (slanted) on the left (this is the start of her hand). Also draw a curved line on the right.
Step 15
Start the fingers on the left hand by drawing a backwards number ‘3’. Also draw a number ‘5’ like shape (highlighted in yellow) on the right arm…also draw a number ‘3’ for the start of her fingers.
Step 16
Draw 2 lines down like a number ’11’ under the dress.
Step 17
Now draw a lowercase letter ‘3’ on the left foot and a sideways capital letter ‘E’ on the right foot.
Step 18
Now draw a backwards letter ‘c’ on the left shoe and a forward letter ‘c’ on the right shoe. Also draw a curved line at the bottom of the shoe.
Step 19
Draw a circle with a number ’11’ on either side for Isabella’s belt.
Step 20
Now draw the design in her belt and draw a few slanted lines at the bottom of her skirt for pleats. Also draw an upside down, capital letter ‘F’ on each of Isabella’s legs.
Step 21
I just realized that I forgot to finish drawing her fingers so draw a letter ‘J’ on each of Isabella’s hands.
Step 22
Now just erase lines that you don’t need and outline the ‘correct’ lines with a black pen or marker. Making thick, interesting lines instead of the thin pencil lines makes quite a difference in the end result, doesn’t it? If you are having problems figuring out which lines to erase, then reference my drawing (above) for help. Now you will have an amazing cartoon drawing of Isabella from Phineas and Ferb to show off to your friends.
